These are the art pieces which are being featured on my Instagram. Originally I took the idea for these paintings from my treasure in the rubbish collection. This pattern can be seen right across some of my work particularly those with the treasure label.
This particular design came from a painting which was a collage of bananas painted over this the same pattern I called the painting jewels. I do not have that painting anymore but I wanted to recreate the pattern I had come up with in that original painting. The original was more rustic and these later ones are more mathematical in their appearance. If you look at the rest of my work you will see many traces of this design, because it originally comes from the treasure idea. See other blog to understand the depth of the treasure in the rubbish idea.
These little pieces are a delight to do. I love repeating this pattern it reminds me of stain glass windows. Or perhaps those glass windows which are made of bricks of glass. There are three at present but I am going to be making more of them. As when the word gets out properly about my website I expect them to be quite popular. This being because they are very affordable and can be slotted in anywhere in your home to enhance your decor. I believe that that they would particular work well in a kitchen or bathroom. In fact there as been interest in the past to put them in a bathroom.

My hope is in the future I can print this design on cushions, fabrics, duvets, and mugs so watch this space as I discover the journey to do this. If you know of a way in to see this happen sooner rather than later please do get in touch.
At the moment they are on sale at buy 2 get one free, originally they are £10 each but at this sale price you will get all 3 for £20 for a limited time.
If you like this particular style but you would like a difference colour then please get in touch and I can see what I can create for you. I am always welcome to take new commissions.
