The dove idea came from the commissioning I did for The Peaches Womb cancer trust. My mum was the first person to order some Christmas cards and she asked for a dove so I took the dove that I had created for the commissioning and enlarged it and transferred it to this Christmas cards.
The Dove is featured in many Christmas cards that is because the Dove symbolises the Holy Spirit.
As a Christian the Holy Spirit is the one who leads me every day, in fact Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide me every day. Not only that but the Holy Spirit was a very key character of the Christmas story which I have said in a previous blog or post.
Holy Spirit is a face of the God head and he is what brings the supernatural to our day to day life. If you follow future blogs you will read of the supernatural in my ordinary life and I will continue to paint the Supernatural into my pieces.
